2-ball chair drop-off shooting

Position a chair at approximately the 3 point line at any of the 7-spots. Starting under the basket with one ball in each hand, dribble toward the chair. When approximately halfway to the chair perform a crossover with both balls at the same time, and then dribble the rest of the way to the chair. Set one ball on the chair and pick-up your dribble with the other. With just one ball in your hand reverse pivot to face the hoop. Perform a basic move then shoot off of one or two dribble (jab one way then dribble the other, shot fake then go, etc.) As soon as you shoot the first ball run back to the chair, pick-up the second ball, and repeat. Once both balls have been shot run to grab both balls and dribble them until you are back underneath the hoop. Then repeat the drill. Variations: Move the chair to each of the seven spots, mix up your moves (not strictly crossovers, any 2-ball move), and be sure to vary going right versus going left.

2 ball partner shooting (w/chair)

This drill requires a passer/partner. Place a chair around 18 feet from the basket. Start at half court with one ball in each hand. Dribble toward the chair. Pass one ball to your partner as you arrive at the three point line. Make a move around the chair at the top of the key, then shoot a jump shot or go finish. As soon as you shoot the ball (or finish), run to the foul line where your partner will pass you the ball. Catch the ball, then make another move and go score. Then you have to go get the ball from your first shot, and your partner will get the rebound from your second shot. Dribble both balls back to half court then repeat.

2 ball partner shooting

This drill requires a passer/partner standing in the corner near the three point line. Start at half court with one ball in each hand. Dribble toward the top of the key, making a two ball dribble move as you near the three point line. After making the two ball dribble move, pass one of the balls to your partner (while maintaining your dribble). Make a one-ball dribble move around the three point line (on the wing that is on the same side as your partner), shoot a jump shot or go finish. As soon as you shoot the ball (or finish), sprint to the three point line where your partner will pass you the ball. Catch the ball, then shoot a 3. Then you have to go get the ball from your first shot, and your partner will get the rebound from your second shot. Dribble both balls back to half court then repeat.

Multiple dribble move drill

Set up multiple cones or chairs within 4 feet of one another. Make a move at each chair/cone then go finish/shoot/score

50-point drill

Starting at the three point line on the right baseline, shoot a 3 point shot. Immediately run after the ball and return to the three point line on the right baseline. Next you will make a move and shoot a 10-15 ft jump shot off of one or two dribbles. Again run after the ball and return to the three point line on the baseline. This time you will make a move then drive to the baseline for a lay-up. Retrieve the ball and return to the next spot. You will repeat this sequence at each of the 7-spots. At the end of the drill you will shoot 8 foul shots. Concentrate on performing this drill at game speed.

*The scoring for this drill is as follows: 3 points for a made three pointer, 2 points for a made jump-shot, and 1 point for a made lay-up or foul shot. There are a possible 50 points in one round. For every point fewer than 40, add 10 seconds to your time. For every point over 40, add 10 seconds to your time.
